I established The Hair Studio on 4th in November of 2003. I am proud to celebrate 20 blessed years of a successful business. I became interested in art and the essence of creating with my hands at an early age. I grew up drawing, painting, and doing my sister's hair. I enjoyed doing my sister's hair so much, I became confident that hair would be my passion for life. Upon graduating from high school, I enrolled in Empire Beauty School and successfully obtained my Cosmetology License in 1987. I continued my education and obtained my Cosmetology Teachers License in 1988. I worked at Family Haircutters for two years and taught at Empire Beauty School for about a year during that time. I worked at Holiday Hair for 14 years before opening my salon in 2003.

     I specialize in cutting all hair types and textures; short and long, hair coloring, highlights, balayage, color correction, and keratin treatments. I am committed to my craft and my clientele; therefore, it's essential I continue my education in new hair trends and products. I work collaboratively with clients to find a style that will naturally enhance their look. The products I use also cater to all hair types and textures, including but not limited to Biolage, which is vegan and cruelty-free.

      When I'm not running The Hair Studio on 4th, I enjoy listening to music, especially music that makes me want to dance. I enjoy working out and staying healthy, and of course, who doesn't like to binge on a good series? I also love spending time with my supportive partner, Brian, two adult children, CJ and Nicole, my fur baby Sparky, and extended family. My goal is to live life effortlessly and stay grounded while continuing to keep my clients happy. At the same time, I am looking forward to meeting and welcoming new clients too.
